Because it is the people of Europe for the most part who support and agree with this idiot.
I will be going to Sicily in a few weeks to visit with my dad who moved back over there and he can't stand the anti-American sentiment in Europe in general or in Italy. It is the young people who for the most part who are fueling this anti Bush anti US movement.
Remember, we are uncouth and unsophisticated yokels who "persecuted" that great American President Clinton over something stupid like sex.
Bush is a cowboy to them, and he is an uneducated Texan to boot.
Truly, if my dad weren't elderly although in good health, I would not be going and am glad that I don't have to spend for a hotel or for board while I am there. Not going to bring back souveniers either.

How is Bush uneducated? I understand he not only did well in college, he is a Vet, and a ex-pilot. Stupid people can't fly planes.

I'm sorry if it seems that I am ranting a bit, but it seems that the US can't do anything right for Chirac and Europe. The blood we shed on European soil wasn't for naught, but they sure forget that it was fortress America that turned back the Germans and kept Uncle Joe and the cossacks from Russia out of their homes.
I wish my dad stayed, and deep down, I think he wished he stayed as well.
