Are all Conservative Women Religious Fanatics (Vanity warning)??

Okay. Flame if you want. This is what you'd probably call a vanity. Yes, I am a new member, but I've lurked here for years. And no, I'm not from DU!!! However, I am asking a serious opinion here, not trying to start a flame war. I am an agnostic. But I am a conservative. I am anti-abortion, think gay marriage is wrong, I hate high taxes, and think the Dept. of Education is a bunch of shiznit.

But I can't meet a woman like me. All the girls in my age group (I'm 20) are either flaming liberals, or, if they are conservative, they're Jesus freaks. I don't mean to offend anyone but that's the best description I can come up with. Does a non-religious, or "libertarian" type, young, conservative, SINGLE female exist, or not?

if they are conservative, they're Jesus freaks..

Honest Question:
Does simply being a Christian woman qualify as "Jesus Freak" in your view?

I mean, if a woman won't sleep with you on the first date and that means "Jeus Freak", then you cant be helped.

I'm not agnostic, but certainly not a "Jesus freak" - not that theirs anything wrong with that.

There are some conservative ladies out there, but we get snapped up pretty quick. Conservative men know a good thing when they see it!!

No.
Conservative is not synonmous with religious.
And religion is not synonmous with morality.

What do you consider a Jesus-Freak?

Just because they are Christian doesn't make them a Jesus Freak.

Maybe you can try going to a couple of Wiccan Festivals.

I think you may be on the right track. But, hey give the kid credit. I think this may be a 500+ post thread!

I would trade all the young, gorgeous, non-religious conservative women in the world for one plain ol' conservative lady who loves Jesus. No contest, IMO.

I can't concieve of any conservative woman wanting to date an agnostic. Indecisiveness and wishy-washyness are not attractive qualities.

No answer here about the women. You've struck my curiousity. If you're agnostic why are you conservative? Most conservatives are so due to beliefs they got from the Bible. I'm just curious what you base your conservatism upon.

From what I've seen of the young women in my neighborhood, the ones that don't go to church are mostly sleazy, FWIW.

I'm 36 and as conservative as they come. I haven't attended church regularly since high school. I wouldn't call myself fanatical, or even devout; I'm just a believer in God. I don't go around telling people so, however.

I want a girl that won't lecture me because I listen to death metal, or watch "bad" movies, or drag me to all her church activities. I have no problem with Christians, it's just not me.

I have read the Bible. And that passage is right. Doesn't change what I am looking for, however.

My fiance and I found each other on an Internet dating site. And I'm not a "Jesus" freak. I suggest at least trying it, it's a great way to meet new people, and maybe you'll find someone that really suits you!

Better yet, become a liberal--you'll be happier.

Indeed! Especially if the person is over the age of, say, 20.
