No answer here about the women. You've struck my curiousity. If you're agnostic why are you conservative? Most conservatives are so due to beliefs they got from the Bible. I'm just curious what you base your conservatism upon.
From what I've seen of the young women in my neighborhood, the ones that don't go to church are mostly sleazy, FWIW.
I'm conservative because:
Abortion is murder. You don't have to be Christian to believe that sucking a living baby out of a uterus is murder.
Socialism DOESN'T WORK.
ISLAM? There's a religion I know enough about-learned that on 9/11
BTW-not all of the Founding Fathers were Christian, but they were all conservative by today's standards.
I'm not agnostic, but see no reason why an agnostic can't be conservative.
I thought the liberals were the ones that were exclusive.
I do believe there are many conservatives who are not religious, as that describes most of my family. I am not religious, and I do not believe people have good judgement or good morals simply because they are religious. Being a good person is far more important than your personal religious beliefs, in my view. It consistantly offends me that many religious people think they have cornered the market on values, and judge everyone who does not share their particular views. I have religious friends, and I do not hold anyone's beliefs against them regardless of what they are, because I believe that religion is a very personal thing. I am a conservative because I believe that everyone is responsible for their own life. Low taxes, fewer entitlement programs, respect for life, and bombing the crap out of anyone who deserves it.
because I have commen sense and morals. Having these qaulities does not mean you have to believe in god.
Logic got me to the right, not religion.
