Pretty cat. Do they lie around miserably and pant in warm climates, like Siberian huskies?

I have a siberian, who is quit comfortable in an air conditioned house. He thinks it is his.

Yeah, you know, you don't make jokes about cats that look like this. You just don't . . .
|
To: TXBSAFH
I guess you'd have to keep the cats indoors, in the south.

I keep him indoors because he terrorizes the neighborhood. He is an evil tom cat.

Does anyone know
if there is a ping list for
real Viking Kitties?!
To: TXBSAFH
The website says they won't sell these for outdoor cats, anyway. Beautiful kitties ... I wonder how big they are. There wasn't anything about their size on the website.

I found this photo of a 12 week cat sitting in a lap. Not small . . .

To: Tax-chick
My Siberia, Pepper Jim, is about 9-10 pounds. 5 pounds of which is fur. My wife domestic tabby is 13 pounds.

"Not small"
No, but it's very fluffy ... I'd need to know the weight of an adult to have a real concept of the size! My old off-the-streets calico was 12 lbs. at her biggest.

What a beautiful cat. Too bad I'd never be allowed to adopt one since my cats get declawed. I've got a great vet and none of my cats who've been declawed have ever had a problem physically or emotionally. They're still able to mouse (when I have a mouse in the house) and they slap the dog around on a regular basis.
Two stories about the first cat I ever had declawed. I was living in Houston and would occasionally let her outside in our fenced backyard. We could always tell the difference between the front yard chameleons and the backyard chameleons. The backyard lizards were tail-less while the front yard lizards had their tails. She also managed to climb the fence and get on the roof one day when I wasn't looking.

Forgive me for my newbie stupidity, but where did "Viking Kitties" originate?
Also is the a link around here someplace that tells me the meaning of bttt, ping etc.... It took me two months until my 16 year old daughter told me what ROTFLMAO meant!
