Well, the fallout from the dot.bomb bubble busting, Dell moving mfg. off shore, and the nitwits that keep building homes and apartments have all come together to screw the real estate poochie here.

And I can't see anything that will make this new year any better for us.

They have scheduled your feedings?

How totally amazing is that?

I don't think that I would do so very well with your company.

I have an inherited resistance to alcohol.
So it is a bad idea for me to drink.

I went over to a friend's last night. We played cards and a game called "Scene It." We also watched the second Blue Collar Comedy Tour. I drank 4 blue thingies, but I quit drinking early. I also had to be careful since I was on call just in case I had to sober up in a hurry. Fortunately, I didn't get called out. I was actually pulling into my driveway about 5 minutes past midnight.

You will save mega-bucks over the years, DarkOne.
Invest them wisely (but don't ask me how.)

Cheers up there.

Isn't that just insane? So, now I have to go ask my manager to see if I can skip at least one dinner. I need to workout and stretch or I'll be in crippling pain. But, of course, I'll be the one in trouble for being a bad team player and requesting not to attend the dinner. Which by the sounds of it, will be cafeteria food anyway.

I don't think that I would do so very well with your company.

Believe me, I am barely hanging on with all these pc losers in charge. I just have to figure out what I can do next with my life.

I will.
Sucks that it takes twice the amount for me to feel teh same effect as 'normal' people.
*grrr*

But, I guess it is for the better?

"I SO need some excitement of one kind or another."

Sounds like an invitation to trouble if you ask me.

Yikes. Thanks for telling me; I didn't know Dell left too. I noticed a lot more "for rent" signs in SF than usual, and a nice Nob Hill apartment for only $2,000 (not being sarcastic)... but SF always ebbs and flows and rents never really fall that low.

*chuckle*

I'm sure someone on DD here has had a rather humorous evening last night that puts us toshame and is being quiet about it.

Anyone seen Nully?

*groan*
Open mouth, prepare to run..

Shall I try to have a head start, or should I just give up all resistance now?

Wow, another thing we have in common (about the "normal" people). I used to be able to out-drink any man even in Alaska. Made some money that way, heh heh...

"Anyone seen Nully?"

I believe Nully is doing Disneyland with one of the kids. The other one is smart enough to stay away from such places during holiday breaks.

What's funny is that you can't really run East, and unless you escape through Canada, we have you hemmed in to the West and South.

I wonder which one is Nully's favorite ride.

Got "called out" and challenged by my sarge in the military.
He didn't believe me about the inherited resistance, even though my brother also warned him about it.

So I ordered up a triple of 150 proof stuff and started the 'game' off.
The sarge was rather ticked with me the next morning.
His words were to the effect of, "15 triples and you have no hangover?!"

For me, it was an exercise in futility and for the Sarge it was a moment of newfound respect for the then 'newbie' E2 private.
