Come'on Aggies, suck it up.
They keep fumbling inside their own 20....very baaaad.
Happy New Year to you too Westy. Thanks for the lovely pictures which greet me in the mornings.

What a marvelous castle picture Woliff, thank you! Happy New Year!

Greetings and Happy New Year! Sorry I missed the DD party. Bad luck to Sharkey - this time we drove so no Brumhilda. SL: This was our third trip in December... highly unusual since I typically seldom leave the house :) Now I have ten days travel-free until I haunt Loddy in Austin.
Didn't hit any big storms, just a patch of heavy-duty fog this morning in Phoenix.
Thank you for the photos and links. Happy New Year to all! Love Grannie's enclosed pool; can't wait for the DD party there :) Woliff's SIL looks incredible - and I wouldn't think a day past mid-60s.
Been quiet my way except for a mobile vehicular missile last night meandering randomly about the road.
Collision avoidance was rather easy since they seemed to have no particular direction in mind and were in no great hurry to get there.
They even left some of their suspension behind on a curb.
All in all, after that little adventure and light show of sparks from their car, the rest of the night was pretty boring.
Are you serious? Drunk drivers almost hit you?
Yuppers.
They missed by a wide margin though.
And after that, the rest of the evening was boring.
;-P
LOL!
Wow. I was keeping an eye out, but we made it back to the hotel by 11 pm. We had dinner and a small celebration at "Rawhide". It's a Western ghost town near Scottsdale.
Keep me posted on the Austin trip...cheers out there.
Glad you made it back safely. Bet you'll be glad when all the traveling is done for awhile. Still, it'll be fun meeting Loddy and perhaps some of the other Austin area FReepers.
Yeah, totally. Have to see if the evil ones will permit me an hour to leave the group so I can at least meet you!
"Ahhh feel your pain" about the taxes - everything from 8% sales taxes in Scottsdale to seeing my year-end pay statement just now. Giving me an ulcer.
What's up with Austin - I keep hearing it's one of two markets in the country where real estate is dropping?
Got back home somewhat early last night.
After seeing the mobile vehicle missile doing a lazy weave down the road and over curbs it was deemed "time to go home" after that.
Didn't see anyone else driving under the influence after that, but we did see people walking under the influence.
Wonder why some people get a funny hop in their stride when they're tipsy.
They're walking fast and *hop!* they're bouncing like bunny rabbits about the parking lot.
Weird.
But the rest of the evening was rather boring.
I SO need some excitement of one kind or another.
Thanks! Amazingly, I've gotten into this travel mode and handled it and the crowds pretty well. I sure am glad to be back with my cats though. The only problem with Austin is, the convention has us so tightly booked that I'm not sure I'll be able to sneak away. It's not a large enough group that I can leave unnoticed. Even our dinners are scheduled. But, I will have to talk to my manager about that dinner part because my back won't be able to handle that much sitting - at least at work I can move around and stretch during the day. I might have to bring her a doctor's notice. I can do plenty of networking during the day and the coffee sessions.
I'll just be happy if that jerk-off Bluto "team lead" doesn't sit next to me in the plane. He is the type who requires two or three seats to himself.
Put spatial distorter teleportation tunnel through here: X
I can't believe that you haven't left yet (at the time you posted this). Don't you know that Disneyland requires an early start....or did you talk him out of it?
Those stories make me glad I don't drink anymore.
