The least talented of a untalented bunch. (and don't tell me that Belushi was funny. Watch a rerun. "CheeseBurger CheeseBurger CheeseBurger". Oh stop! You're killing me!!) Anyways, whatever happened to her?--- Whatever it was it should have happened to to the entire pathetic loser cast of SNL. If you want funny from that era check out SCTV.

Why? What did I do that deserves banishment?Your post smacks of instigation, not to mention you sound like a stuck up schmuck who likes to tear people down simply to make a point.
Not my cup of tea. Try another chat room on Yahoo or something.

I agree with you, the writing from SNL, even in the early days sucked! It was always the same repetitive jokes over and over. Chevy Chase was probably the worst of the worst though.
I haven't watched SNL in years, but I imagine it hasn't improved much.
Loraine Newman? No idea.

Well, as I recall it, she had her nose surgically reduced, which seemed to destroy her character in the SNL skits...and she ended up doing voice-overs for cartoons.
It was amazing to behold...and I still do not know why she did not have it reversed....unless she prefers not being on-camera. I thought she had acting ability, and would move onto the big screen.
The SNL stuff was funny at the time...which, if you can remember...was a pretty odd time culturally. Its time is evidently gone now, as are some of their most energetic characters.
