my hubby is a stubborn old woman...but I luvs him....
Good lord, even the general population has figured out in the last five years or so that homeschooling's legal... Mom never gets asked that dumb question any more. When I was little we got that all the time.
ROTFL!! Actually SSQ suggested homeschooling many years ago, but I was the one with the cold feet. Actually I wanted the socialization of school activities. When the younger two had gotten to 5th and 7th grades, I'd had all the socialization I could stand and was ready to just chill. I enjoyed those three years with Joseph before he went to high school this year. Clare is still enjoying it. We had a lot of fun, and it was great spending so much time with them. They are smart, interesting people, and we wouldn't have appreciated that as well if they'd been gone most of the day.
Find your state's homeschool message board, and get your hubby to take a look at it. Also find a local homeschooling group that does field trips. Maybe he could go on a couple with your daughter so that he could see what those wierd folks do! ;o)
