Went to the eye doctor today, with my daughter. We were sitting there waiting for the doctor to call us in and nearby was a television. Apparently the secretary likes watching General Hospital.

Do you know what was going on today's episode????? A RAPE. I hope to God my daughter was too engrossed in the Highlights magazine she was reading, but it took a few moments to realize what was happening...and when I did, we were called in by the doctor.

I felt so violated...just by watching. I mean, it was BAD.

Missisiippi can get pretty hilly in places, like Carroll County, surprisingly, in the Delta, and Vicksburg and down the long undulating slope from Hattiesburg to Gulfport. ;o)
