Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Though we pass them by today...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

ALPHA BIKE USA Spiderman 2 electric scooter... its actually a pretty kewl scooter, but we have no use for it, because the closest place to ride it safely is about 12 miles from the house...
what he really needs is a new off road bicycle... that said, we were going to put the scooter up for sale locally or on ebay, and use the cash fer a bike... just thought I'd offer it up to any of you that might be interested first...

Elf-boy got a Spiderman scooter for Christmas. It isn't motorized, but it looks very much the same.

Are you watching the parade?? Are all those protesters just confined to that one spot? Didn't they have to go to that one spot?
What is that loud speaker saying??

Just got this email back from my cousin about his son Josh:He sounds like someone who merits one of our HH "utility knives". Does he already have our HH folder? Do I have a good address for him?

There was one whole section that was nothing but protesters...and one even was carrying a big casket, which makes no sense, because they couldn't put sticks on their signs but they can carry a casket?
Maybe it was one of those cardboard ones like I want to paint daisies on and get buried in when I go...
