New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |

Still round the corner there may wait |
Home is behind, the world ahead, |
And the bacon. Don't forget the bacon.
I could do with some.
I'd like to say that I've learned to cook bacon since then...
I made a mess of the bacon that last day! We almost never had it growing up except as a treat...and then I just never made it. So I didn't know...
Duh...
Indeed!
We had some really, really wonderful food at Entmoot. Seriesly wonderful.
Any idea what to do with ground turkey? I got some raw ground turkey at Aldis for 69 cents a pound!
I also got 85% lean hamburger for 1.99 a pound. It's sold frozen in pound-sized packages. I can usually get 80% lean at Walmart for that price, but I have to buy the mongo package of it and re-wrap it to freeze it. I like this better! I just come home and toss it already frozen right into the freezer or into the bottom drawer of my fridge to thaw.
Anyway, the jedis are having hamburger helper tonight for supper. They're gonna be thrilled.
When there's nothing else to talk about, Hobbits talk about food!
That's just wrong.
That's just wrong.
I just use it the same way I do ground beef. S'okay if you don't mind your "hamburgers" tasting like turkey.
But the steaks are for Saturday night!
Did I jump the gun?
No, that was Trilogy Day's lunch.
I thought that was the lunch break on the LOTR marathon that first Saturday.
I use ground turkey instead of ground beef in all my dishes, especially in spaghetti.
Ya know...we haven't done a chat/view of ROTKEE yet. Or have you been chatting and viewing behind my back?
Now?
