Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Though we pass them by today...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

No. I don't think so either. And how could he come out brown? "I don't mind as long as he doesn't come out brown". And what's wrong with brown.
Like trying to make sense of a woman with an invisible hairbrush.

Oh, where is my hairbrush?
Oh where is my hairbrush?
Oh, where, oh, where, oh, where, oh, where, oh, where, oh, where, oh, where, oh, where oh, where...
is my hairbrush?

But on the other hand I have firmly established myself as a seperate adult person, and I wasn't sure that would ever happen if I stuck around.Yeah, it's good to be away for a while. They appreciate you more when you come home! ;o)

He and Gidget are playing really good. Gidget is learning how to play, Logan and Zulu didn't play with her that much unless they were plotzing her for being annoying as a pup.

I was thinking about you over Christmas, knowing how you'd feel. ;o)

Wife has Papa's first pacemaker. She's going to take Nana to one of those stores where you make your own bear. They'll put the pacemaker inside. Build a Bear!! You prolly have one at the nearest big mall! Clare got a big black lab there; named him Sirius. ;o)

Yeah, wife knows where it is.

Clare had great taste ;-)
When I have a house and stuff, I want a big dog. If it's the right color, Sirius is the only possible name.

Good thing they brought in all that firewood and set up the air mattress!! It would get kinda crowded in our family room if we had to do that! ;o)

Homer looks like he's made himself 'at home'. How old do you reckon he is? It looked like he had some white around his muzzle.

ROTFL.... we are talking about looney people, and out of nowhere, SuziQ screams SHUT UUUUUP!Heh, the pitfalls of responding to posts as I catch up. I was yelling at Ruthy with her weather in the 70's! But it did kind of fit the running conversation, all of a sudden, some loon yelling "SHUT UUUUP"! LOL!

I like the last picture with Homer just laying his head down like he's saying "Yep, this feels like home."
