Home is behind, the world ahead,

"This is a pine tree. This is ice on the pine tree."LOL!! Yeah, we get the obligatory footage of the sand trucks rolling before the storms get going, then the plows moving the snow. EVERY TIME! I guess they think we must forget between storms.

I'm really glad this is pay week. I'm down to the let's-see-what-interesting-things-we-can-make-from-the-odd-assortment-of -junk-in-the-fridge-and-cabinets stage.

I get really nervous on the smaller roads that don't have guard rails. Even if I'm going really, really slowly...on a steep slope you'd still end up going over the edge. Just vey slowly over the edge.

Evening, made it home rather quickly as I was at another office today. The office downtown closed early (I was already in transit) and the other office closed at 4, hmm. except for the project group I was meeting with, we went to 5:15pm... sigh.
LSA brought in some fire wood, bought an inflateable bed with a built in pump, candles are on the mantle, got our wind up radio, we're about as ready as we can be. btw Gypsygirl is not amused by the weather.
