I think it's just awesome how far he's come. We've been following this since the beginning and remember how injured he was when he came in? He was hardly responsive! Then he started coming around, then making that profound decision to remove that leg...
I used to worry about getting bad news. I now really only look forward to hearing all the positive news...
Why did you stay there? What it is exactly?
I need more coffee...
Visiting my sister. Brother-in-law's in the Air Force and they live on base there. When a whole group of us go visit we try to get digs at the Navy Lodge. It's a hotel for people visiting military folk.
Ahhh....
Great update, thanks! Will wait for the other post!
Didja kill it?
Trying to figure out whether there's anything I can do that's useful, productive, or will save me time next week. There ain't. I think I'll go along when my little sister goes to get her books for school.
The Richmond Symphony is doing a concert in May. But if it's not really sure I care to go.
Thoughts?
And a delicious ham it was. Good thinking on the garage. I think we may want to tarp the toyota tonight. Winshield and side doors.
It's supposed to start tomorrow night, isn't it?
Hope I don't knock a side mirror off or something.
Good Morning 2J - Thanks for the update on Andy, that is very good news.
Some mirrors are swing mounted, I dunna know bout yours.
I might find out, though, right? :)
The Balrog just showed up.
Yes, it really was Howard Shore when we went. I can't tell from the page you linked if they are actually having a guest conductor or the regular conductor there for your event. ecurbh is writing something about it to you too about it, and other reviews of performances when Shore wasn't there.
I wouldn't go if it wasn't Shore either... but ecurbh would. But he is more of a symphony fan, and I am mostly a Shore fan.
I always immensely enjoy hearing familiar music performed live, and being able to watch the musicians and conductor. So basically, if Howard Shore would be the bigger draw for you, I would say don't go. But if its the music, I say go.
Thanks.
I also have to consider that I'd be the only one in my house interested in going. Wife would go along because I wanted to. Jr. prolly wouldn't care to go to the symphony...he's 15, what can I say.
Well, you can tell Jr. that we saw quite a few teenage girls at our concert.
