Thank you, and second that bah-humbug. They don't have good selections at all.

We are having a quiet and pleasant Christmas Eve so far. Church is at 7, and then we're doing taco and margarita bar, along with the best Christmas movie of all time, other than "Die Hard", "A Christmas Story".

Am I mentally ill if I like my inlaws??? Dwarves aren't allowed to answer *grin*.)

I liked my in-laws. They were always very nice to me. I was never in Granny's doghouse, though SSQ ended up there a couple of times. ;o)

Horses are having their breakfast inside this morning... It was too early for many of us to want to go out.

Gidget dog trying to find a Christmas mouse... but none were stirring.

We've got Amy Grant Christmas carols at the moment.

I'd like to watch RoTK a little later... perhaps snuggled up with my honey.

I need to finish up coffee and make a run to the grocery store. The coconut's draining and I've got baking to do!

I intend to marry into a nice family with good grandparents, since my own extended family is lousy. Of course my immediate family, sibs and parents, are nice.

The latest nastiness is that my dad's pathetic younger brother is apparently shacked up, having abandoned his family completely. We're disowning him permanently. I hope his kids get a decent Christmas but they won't have anything to do with us.

Amy Grant? I know who she is! Woo-hoo!

Her Christmas albums are ok. Not our family's favorites, but in our top twenty. Of course, our top twenty includes two theological treatises on the birth of Christ, two carols-and-electric-guitars, and Mannheim Steamroller. We're eclectic.

We have Mannheim Steamroller too. And Jimmy Buffett Christmas songs!

We don't do Jimmy Buffett, but we've got a James Taylor Christmas album.

Our Christmas MP3 playlist (658 tracks) includes Mannheim Steamroller, Nat King Cole, Jimmy Buffett, The Canadian Brass, Amy Grant, James Taylor, Harry Connick, Stan Kenton, Dean Martin, The Chieftains, Michael W. Smith, George Winston, Mel Torme, and the Boston Pops. I think that could be called eclectic too.

Doc Severinson and the Tonight Show Band is up now...

I suppose... I'm not sure "hip" is used any more, though.

We like Michael W. Smith. Sounds like an interesting mixture.

Some of those others my grandmother forced us to listen to when we were too little so now we hate them.

Ever hear the Chicago Christmas album? Really, really good; makes me even like songs I don't normally like!

Nope.

Cool is still in. Some say 'phat', but not me. I like "wonderful", "awesome", or "neat". "Excellent" works, too.
