As a long-time conservative, a Viet Nam veteran, lifetime Christian, and as someone with an inquisitive mind, I need to understand why George Bush was chosen to carry the banner of Conservatism?
Yeah, I knew that one was a bad talking point, as a lot of the stuff in that was, just thought it wouldn't hurt to answer the question in case this person was serious. But I guess he was a troll afterall. Oh well. Enough of this.
Yeah, this one is too easy.
His history was long winded bloviating posts that read like someone trying to sound like what they think "one of us" sounds like.

McCain blew that one..Bush condemned all 527s but McCain managed to blow a fuse over this one before going after all of them...because of his friendship with Kerry, who called the military as a whole like the army of Ghengis Kahn.
Bush's campaign is not the one who smeared McCain in 2000....Bush was criticised by McCain for not condemning it if I recall...it is a myth that Bush smeared Mccain.
Bush did volunteer for duty in Viet Nam according to officers in his Guard unit but lacked the # of flying hours to be considered.
Ever look at the national debt year to year, decade by decade in conjunction with GDP?
Oh by the way, I'm pretty new to this, so forgive me for acting like a "newbie" or whatever I'm considered, but what in the hell is a ZOT? I'll get the hang of this stuff after a while and learn to distinguish between trolls and non-trolls. I never claimed to be real smart :)

I agree with you on that point -- I've learned a lot from some troll threads -- but not on this one.
Still, one could learn here how a libertarian DOESN'T frame issues, as Harmless Teddy Bear et al. have shown.

Like with the tax cuts or with picking John McCain as a conservative or on the states rights/abortion bit. As I pointed out you can not be pro-states rights and pro-Roe v. Wade as that was the case where states rights were smashed.
You're going to need to grow a thick skin for a little while. Hopefully the ones flaming you will forget soon.
