LL did a major shopping today, found lots of good steaks.
I'm jealous about your grilling weather.

True stuff. OP's and tees going on here.
Do the weather.com thing and punch up 78731 to check it out.
The lawn has to be mowed twice a month, still!

For the Texas Michigan game let's do the grilling at your place.
The game can only be watched here though.

The last of three pounds of Snow Crab.
It was simply without telling, one of the best things I have ever eaten. OMG!! If you can find them frozen buy them. I don't know if they are baby Alaskan or not, but they are succulent beyond measure. Much sweeter than Alaskan, and they are big and meaty. That is a big plate they are on.
To: Borax Queen
Poor Babe - LOL! I thought you all went off to eat :)

Yes, we owned a condo in Cancun for eleven years. I don't think there is anywhere on earth, except for a couple of the Islands, for better sand, sun and water.
Not only that, but the people in the Yucatan are great!

OK, now I have new careers for you both - as food photographers!!!

I love the Yucatan most of all; that is amazing that you lived there. I have been to all the places you mentioned, but also can't remember the name of Xuxumel**? near Tulum.

Oh, I can get frozen crab legs. What I want is fresh crabs from the gulf which I have caught myself with a chicken neck on a string.
Please, lord, take me south before I become insane. LOL
To: grannie9
Careful Gran. I hear all that seafood can have odd side effects.

We've been there about five times. We used to like the hotel at La Punta Cancun because it faced the ocean and the gulf on two sides.......great snorkelling off the rocks to the South accross the channel. The Hyatt next door had the best fish shack ever.....you picked out the fresh fish and they cooked it however you wanted......great service, and great people.
We have also stayed down at a place near the town where you take the boats to Cozumel....just beautiful.
did you live there or just visit in winter?

Well..we didn't live there year round..as Al wasn't retired yet, but we spent many weeks a year there. We bought a condo around 1987, and just sold it before we came to FL.
Do you mean Xel Ha? That was the big lagoon for swimming and snorkling.
