It was simply without telling, one of the best things I have ever eaten. OMG!! If you can find them frozen buy them. I don't know if they are baby Alaskan or not, but they are succulent beyond measure. Much sweeter than Alaskan, and they are big and meaty. That is a big plate they are on.
OK, now I have new careers for you both - as food photographers!!!
Oh, I can get frozen crab legs. What I want is fresh crabs from the gulf which I have caught myself with a chicken neck on a string.

Not growing up on the, or any, coast, I hate having to work coaxing meat out of hulls. Hate it.
The best that I can do is shrimp, and I peel them before cooking. (It doesn't stink up the place when cooking, and when done, we can immediately get to the business at hand.)
