Bitter herbs, three spices, dark hoods, green clovers, and iron horseshoes...
Yecchy Charms, part of a complete basement.

"Well, I could shoot you out the door, I suppose. But then you'd probably hit one of the redwoods..."

That creates an entertaining mental image. ROTFL!

Mo, go look at Carly's picture again. See the black wire coming out of your hand and the perfect picture of a mouse? LOL

BTW...you have a very talented little artist for her age. Not many four year olds can draw a cat looking over its shoulder.

The missus got sick, and ended up barfing most of the night.

They do that when you don't get the dosage right the first time.

How many were there?

How old was that L.Girl?

Childrens bodies seem to mature faster than their experiences on earth!

I would say mind but it is so true some things have to develope like logic etc.

Sadly so many are exposed to things beyond their ability to process the consequences.

"Since all of us are paying for this, and not get invited to attend the function - it is obscene, and a rip-off of all of those who have to pay for this abomination."

Oh, but you can go to the White House and see it, too, if you really want to. Just contact your congressman or senator and ask them to arrange a visit for you. They stopped tours of the White House altogether after 9-11 for obvious reasons but about a yr or so later they gradually resumed but with limitations, again for obvious reasons.

I don't think it obscene or an abomination at all, quite the contrary, in fact. It pleases me to see that grand and historic house continue the gracious traditions that have evolved over the years and that so many of us have been delighted to see and enjoy. :)

Do you have any Blue Jays ? They can teach those Mourning Doves a thing or two about assertiveness. LOL One of my BILs mother lives in Arkansas and she, too, has a yard full of birds. She has lots of bird houses and feeders but in the winter she also makes a few feeding stations that hang from tree branches or on plant hangers outside her kitchen windows. She winds a length of fine wire around the top of a pinecone then coats the pinecone with peanut butter and then packs birdseed all around the cone. She says they love it.
