And to you.
*SMOOOOOOTCH*
What are your plans for the day?
Dunno. Might open a can of soup.
Yours sounds about as exciting as mine. Too bad we're so far apart. I've had invitations to dinner, but I just can't deal with all those people. I'd rather stay home and fend for myself. Much more relaxing.
*shrug* you could always move to Caleeeforneeea. We have plenty of wackos...
The inventor of the funkle should be proud......
I wonder who that was?
I get my fill with the homegrown hillbilly brand whackos. I've come to the conclusion that there is no escape from these cerebrally challenged moral reprobates anywhere this side of the pearly gates.
Or the other side probably.
'Paradise is exactly like where you are right now.
Only much much
better...' - Lori Anderson
Who the heck is Lori Anderson and why should I care?
She's a, ummm, performance artist...
He invented the algorrhythm.....that much we know....
Somehow I suspected as much. Big surprise there. Not.
LOL
Ouchie.
Even when I was younger, in shape, and doing drugs, 45 minutes or an hour was about it.

Good on the Euro's for fighting back.
Good morning, and Happy Thanksgiving! I'd rather be staying home today, but family obligations call. We're going over to my husband's sister's mother-in-law's home for dinner. None of us care for her much, she's quite a snob, but she is gracious enough to have us all over for a holiday meal. What I don't care for is that she does have a rather snobbish attitude. Her sons are actually worse. My sis-in-law's husband is the kind of guy who like to bait people with snide comments, and then sit back and smirk when someone rises to the bait. Most of the time i don't take the bait, but occasionally I can't help but shoot back. He is, of course, a liberal, as is his brother and mother. The three of them were going on and on about how awful Ronald Reagan and the Bush family are. This was shortly after Reagan died, and I must say, I did get my hackles up.
I don't know what they're going to have to say today since Kerry lost. I will avoid gloating, that won't help with the atmosphere. I've decided that if they start in on how awful Bush is, I'll ask them to please not talk about politics today, that we're all there to celebrate Thanksgiving. If that doesn't work, I may just leave. I don't know if my husband will come along with me, but he may have to. We're taking my car, I have the keys. I guess I just get a little fed up with the crap.
Thing is, although I voted for Bush, I really do disagree with things he's done and not done (don't want to get into that here today - it IS Thanksgiving, after all) but I don't want to get into a political discussion with this family. They're not actually discussions, they're snide comments and general nastiness about Bush and other conservatives.

GASP!
Good morning, BQ! I've given up gasping at things that Swervie says.
Sean Hannity said to tell those people something like "Bush won, Kerry lost, get over it". I know, I know, easier said than done and thank goodness for once, we don't have to face our lib relatives today.
