We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
American forces now control 80% of Fallujah. The remaining terrorists are now cornered.

Outgoing AG Ashcroft commented that there are certain judges in America which threaten National Security by ruling contradictory to the President's obligations under international treaties and agreements. Specifically, Ashcroft condemned a judge's ruling that the President's decision that Al Qa'eda members were exempt from the Geneva Conventions was wrong.
The ACLU, naturally, disagreed with Ashcroft.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
The vast majority of the bedroom pieces we saw were like those I have posted. If people are filling up their houses with that sort of stuff ... and the dark, medieval-looking fabrics ... no wonder they are feeling depressed and pessimistic. Waking up in a dungeon every day would tend to make one sense gloom and doom.
I was thinking about a big Ole' BRASS Bed. (thinking about the song from our youth and *blushing*)
Pfc. Ev came home from his "extra" drill weekend. This was the one where he was an instructor. He taught a bunch of guys how to start IV's and was very happy when he got his demo "stick" on the first try........wouuld have been pretty embarrassing to screw it up in front of the guys you're supposed to be instructing.:)
Because he volunteered to do this extra weekend he & a bunch of the other medics were treated to a night at a hotel. They got there just in time for happy hour............a bunch of guys in BDU's sitting around in the bar having a good ol' time.:)
He's doing extra time in December also.
The county I live in is called 'the redneck capital of the world,' though ... and I kept trying to picture some of these bedroom suites ... or huge, dark living room pieces ... in a double-wide. It would be absolutely suffocating.
I think what stunned me was how much of it there was ... I would guess that 90% of what we saw was that real heavy, ornate stuff. There was very little suitable for a guest room, which is what we were looking for. We did finally find just the right thing and are looking forward to its arrival.
Hubby has been painting the room this weekend. We had humored both of our children when they were living here and let them paint their rooms very, very dark green. It's required several coats of paint to go from that to off-white with just the faintest hint of color, even when using a primer.
That's half the reason we fight.... ;>)

Emchild will stay with us a couple more days and go back to her place, and return to classes, on Wed. There is no school on Tuesday anyway; and tomorrow will be spent getting caught up on the classwork she missed last week.
She has really perked up. Hope it lasts a while.
It was nice having all three kids home for a short time today. Older son came over to watch the game, younger son got home in time to catch the 4th quarter, and Em was already here.
Anyway...................
Sweet dreams to all you sweet people.
:-)
14 angels and a PFC to look over you!

Well, I did the Spybot and the Ad Aware thingy. I can't believe the difference it made in the speed of my computer.
I was pretty insecure about doing it by myself, but it went okay. I think. Maybe I'm too dumb to know what mistakes I made.
God bless us all. Each, and every one.

G'night, John! God bless you!
I'm going to call it a night, too. Have a restful night.

Heading off to bed myself ...
Goodnight, everyone. Sleep tight and don't let the bedbugs bite.
How are you doing? Beginning to get back to normal after your surgeries?
G'night and God bless!
Good morning.
