Then I winked at him,,, he's 37 and young enough to be my son if I'd started my family early,, and started down the isle with the Bible held high.
ROTFLMPO !!!
Wow - remind me never to get into a battle of quick wits with you! That was a zinger. Though you may have only earned two points for these encounters, it was the equivalent of winning two World Series, not two points.
Girlchild was released today. I'm not thrilled but I was out-voted.
She's here with us until tomorrow night, then will go back to her apt.
She does seem better. We'll see how long it lasts...........
Even tho i didn't post, I know you know I was praying for you all.
We have to wonder, does it ever end?
....sigh..........I don't know..........I hope it ends some day.........and that she can be healthy and live the life she was meant to live.
Prayers lifted for girlchild. And for you. The worry can be exhausting, I'm sure.
You forgot the second, essential, part:
"Repeat as often as needed as long as symptoms persist."
Prayers for you and family.
We just had a long discussion about the history of the French monarchy.
She is so brilliant when she is......herself. I wish she could be herself all the time.
Brinker is very down on Bush about deficits - so much so that he gave an impression that Kerry and the Demodogs would do better, though he never would say so. Who cares: they lost, we WON - and the economy is going to grow much faster than expected next year _ I Predict _ ...
I am happy that this one has found someone who seems to tolerate her "moods"...for now anyway.
He seems to be pretty much in love with her, so I guess that helps.
It has caused her to calm down a tad.
She took her GED and was quite happy with the results.
Now that she is "emancipated" she can get grants and aid for college...she plans to start in January.
Baby steps I guess....
I am well aware of how tough these things can be from experience of my own. Patience, persistence, prayer, and acceptance - - - Relax and try not to worry through every little thing and be sure to take at least some time off from worrying about what you feel is your responsibility, but really can not be.
But our world is calm for tonight, at least.
I really WANT her to finish these goals this time tho.....but I can't push her.
Mail toots.
Then I am going to NAP again!!
WOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO
Nighty-night.
What excellent advice!!! Every single word of it.
Signed,
One who also lives constantly wondering, not if, but when the other shoe will drop ... *sigh*
