I don't know if she is, kassie. I ask, but she doesn't seem to know how to explain how she feels. I reminded her that in order for her doctor to give an accurate diagnosis she will have to tell him how she feels and where it is that might be a problem.
My observation is that she is coughing far less and she looks better, however, she doesn't act it.
At her age I tend to believe that sometimes a few seniors look at doctor visits as social calls. I hate to make that statement, but I have seen it in action.

I agree, with some it is a way to get out and visit briefly with others. Receptionist, nurse, dr. Just a break in their routine.
Too bad it has to be YOU that has your day interrupted.

I don't mind, too much. What I'm really afraid of is that if she cries wolf too many times, no one will take her seriously when she IS ill.
It really is a sad situation. I have never seen anyone so out of tune with her body. The other day she was holding her head and moaning..softly. I KINDLY asked her what was wrong. She said that she was all right....just didn't feel 100%. I asked where...she said she didn't know. Sad. I want to help, but can't so I left her alone to moan.

I was disappointed also Lysie.. It was amazing to see the changes in the people. and the ads . ouch. Reminded me again why I dislike TV.
Read that Howard Keel (age 85 & Miss Elly's second husband) died Sunday morning of colon cancer.

Glad you are back safely Jemian. Travel can be fun or a nightmare depending on a lot of circumstances. some folks (like my mom) are really homebodies & always prefer to be in their own place. to them travel is usually not satisfying.

Obama will NOT be the Demodog's candidate.
Hitlery will be able to squeeze off any major money machine that he tries to tp in to. Mark this prediction.

Dadblame it! The NLights were good last night! Grrrrr.... I've been lax in checking into spaceweather.com lately, and I chose to leave the 'puter off, or I would have caught your alert ---
Thanks for posting this, though... I'll be more vigilant in the future.

Seems like I bring up a lot of 'use to' but at my age there are more of them than in the present but while stationed in Alaska in the 50's I use to sit out in the cold and watch the Northern Lights, breathtaking, amazing.
