We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
President Bush has already tried to reach out to France and make amends. French President Chirac, however, has also already rebuffed America.
The New York Times is not set for reconcilliation either. They published an op-ed piece today from Krugman that calls Bush a radical and that he will destroy America as we know it. (EN--Well, if we destroy America as seen by the eyes of the liberals, is that necessarily a bad thing?)
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
I like clubs...
*hugs*
Did you hear WTMJ is going to rebroadcast the Packer Super Bowl ('96) on Sunday, since the Packers aren't playing?
The internment was the hardest. Because Joe was in the Air Force, he was buried with all the appropriate military honors. The young woman in uniform who presented hubby's mom with the flag had tears streaming down her face as she thanked her for Joe's service to the military & to his country. There was a 21-gun salute & the playing of taps.............then they presented Josephine with a medal honoring Joe's service, and a bullet in memory of fallen comrades.
At the funeral home last night, a gentleman whose son was killed in Iraq and who is a veteran himself stood honor guard at the door, in full dress uniform. Toward the end of the evening he very discreetly walked into the room & up to the casket and saluted my father-in-law. As he walked out he went up to my mother-in-law, took both her hands in his, and said "God bless you, Ma'am."
Simple gestures, but they meant so much.
I lived in Argentia Newfoundland and loved it - beautiful countryside - great hunting and fishing, however, I was living on a US Naval Base and had access to excellent medical care. Socialized medicine is NOT the health care we receive in America. The first 9 months we lived off base and I watched our landlady and her family struggle with health issues. These silly, pampered, spoiled brat Americans are in for a BIG surprise :-)
Hugs to you and your family Mozie. It has been a hard day for all of you. Prayers for easing of the pain. Love, B
What a wonderful tribute. Those memories will help in the days to come.
They can even pick up ground, if Peyton Manning can stick it to the Viqueens.
Jay, I could hardly drive, some of it was sooo funny...I usually do not like Hannity, but the 'just give me 5 names you can tell all your liberal friends you called me'....I just couldn't take it..;-)
I think Randy Moss is their biggest weaknes, actually...;-)
RATSO! I usually listen to Hannity. But today I chose to watch Seleck instead.
Abalutely!!!!
When he's playing or when he's not playing?
Well, dang it....I missed 110 also!
What did you see Selleck in??? Wasn't the Eisenhower thing, was it?
When he (Moss) is mouthing off just before dropping catches...;-)
His new girlfriend cut his hair this time around. Not too bad a job, either.:)
See...THERE...I saw you smile...HA!
