I'm just reading that article. The Campaign stories will be interesting from both sides. Scarey from sKerry side though. Utah, follow dr's orders and take care of that cellulitis. No sense messin' with infection, hope it clears up easily.

The liberals are getting very ugly. Mr. Prairie had one explode over the phone, totally unexpectedly. The lib started yelling about all the stupid Southerners who lived in trailers with low IQ's that re-elected Bush. Horrid class based rant that Mr. Prairie challenged him on.

Daughter says some people in her dorm are in a lather. sheesh....

Both of our children have become quite liberal, much to our chagrin and disappointment. (I still haven't figured out where we went wrong.) Their in-laws are all extremely liberal, also. Therefore, we were very shocked at what grandson (who is a very bright 6 y/o) said yesterday. He told us that his teacher had said that Mr. Kerry let President Bush have the votes that he needed to win the election. We corrected that statement just a 'wee' bit, telling him that what the teacher meant was that Mr. Kerry admitted that President Bush had enough votes to win. Then grandson told us that he was glad the President won because he liked him ... :-)

Since we know he's not hearing anything good about the President from anyone around him, we asked where he had learned about him. He said it was from a magazine. We don't know what mag but we are delighted, to put it mildly. I told him that President Bush's father had also been a President and he just lit up ... he thought that was really COOL!

Think I'll just write our children off as hopeless and subtly work on the grandkids ... :-)

Sounds like a plan for those grandkids Kay. Don't write your own kids off, they may come around yet.

Getting late, I'd better call it a night.

We've been very impressed with Urban Meyer here in Utah. Even though I am not a University of Utah fan at all, he has done an amazing job with that program in two years.

I went to my sister's house for dinner last night. Her eight year old told me all about the election, how President Bush had tromped Kerry into the ground and how the President had 274 votes and Kerry didn't. My nephew must have talked for 10 minutes straight, he was sooo interested in the elections.

Thanks for the prayers. The dr said the bruise is deep and ugly. The bruise doesn't hurt, it's the swelling from the infection. They did an ultrasound to make sure there weren't any blood clots (there aren't) and I about went through the ceiling when the wand went over the veins in my leg.

I'm off to bed, I'm supposed to walk around for about 10 minutes every two hours while I'm awake. Congrats on the new baby, new life in this world is such a miracle.

I went to a new doctor today in SLC, I couldn't drive for over an hour to go to my dr in Provo. Anyway, when they asked what I was seeing the dr for, I showed them my leg and said I tripped over some uneven pavement in a parking lot. I think they must have asked me at least four times how I bruised my leg. When the ultrasound operator brought me back to the exam room, she and the dr were whispering outside the door. (She had also asked me what happened.) When I was walking out the door of the clinic, it finally hit me why they asked me so many times what happened. They were looking for abuse. Made me feel kind of weird. But I am glad for those who have been abused that medical personnel are on the lookout for it.

I'm really off to bed now.

And anyone who thinks calling a race hours after the polls have closed can effect the outcome is ... well almost anyone can understand how illogical that is.

The rats did make that very charge in 2000 and lots of people believed it and paid 10$ to hear it repeated at the theater. The charge in 2000 was that the networks led by Fox anointed a President and no recount of actual votes would ever be able to undo that coronation. John Ellis, first cousin to Dubya, made the call in Florida for Fox news at 2am...after the polls had closed.

Wednesday at 3am I didn't know Kerry was going to give up the fight. I have heard that Ohio's election system is corrupt. In fact I read that in 1972 GOP Governor Candidate Jim Rhodes told his staff he had to win the state by 50 thousand votes to make up for the cheating in Cleveland.

Perhaps Fox was gutless or prudent. I don't see an upside for Fox in calling the race for Bush first, and I think some viewers might not think that was "fair and balanced."

This was FoxNews' chance to rise above the rest, and they didn't. Sad.

I'll agree Fox isn't perfect. Nothing made by man is. There are the best we got on cable and I'm really glad to have them as a choice to watch.

Game over. Call the state.

I know that and you know that but the rats continue to be certain that the election was stolen. They vandalized the Republican Party of WI HQ, and 80 thousand of them gathered on the capitol to rally for Bruce Springsteen last week. The rats do weird stuff like riot and burn down their neighborhoods.

And they got 56 million people to vote for Kerry. They didn't win but if that's not second place it is really close.

The rats could have fought on and muddied this election just like last time. That is what I expected. I can understand why Fox was reluctant to call the election before the rest of the MSM.

Good qoute!

Unfortunately, they also got the demoCRAT salazar in Colorado. Otherwise, we would have had FIVE added in the Senate. The sheeple swallowed the entire 'down to earth' and 'for the little guy' worn out demoCRAT lies as well as a vicious attack on Pete Coors. Unfortunately, salazar 'looks' like a nice guy, and I believe he really fooled a lot of sheeple.

Good morning, kassie and everybody. Congratulations on Katherine. A beautiful name for life's most marvelous miracle.

Utah Girl - I hope your leg heals properly and you follow the doctor's orders.

It's in the 40's here this morning and the crispness of the air is refreshing.
