AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 1384) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | November 4, 2004 | All of Us

Posted on 11/04/2004 4:26:53 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

Interesting factoid to show and tell to your liberal associates:

PRESIDENT BUSH WAS THE FIRST PERSON ELECTED TO THE OFFICE OF PRESIDENT WITH MORE THAN 50% OF THE POPULAR VOTE IN 16 YEARS. THE LAST TIME THIS EVENT OCCURRED WAS IN 1988 AND IT INVOLVED ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL WHOSE LAST NAME WAS BUSH AND THE LOSER WAS ALSO LIBERAL FROM MASSACHUSETTS. IN 1988, THE LOSER WAS THE GOVERNOR OF MASSACHUSETTS. THE DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT IN 2004 WAS THE LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR OF MASSACHUSETTS IN 1988, AND WOULD SUFFER THE SAME FATE IN THE 2004 ELECTION THAT THE THEN GOVERNOR OF MASSACHUSETTS DID IN 1984.

Some more fun facts to show and tell.

President Bush is the first President since 1936 - FDR - to win the Presidency with a majority vote AND pick up representation in his party in the House of Representatives AND pick up representation in the Senate AND pick up one or more state houses.

The GOP gained five seats in the Senate.

The GOP gained four seats in the House.

The GOP gained one governorship.

Terry McAwful, the UOx42 hand-picked leader of the democRATS, has now presided over three straight losing contests, and in each has allows the democRATS to get their tushes handed to them on a platter. This continues the notion that UOx42 has been the best thing to happen to the Republican Party.

The GOP won the vote in 30 states, the democRATS only 20 and the District of Columbia.

The democRATS had no answer. They even tried comparing President Bush to Hitler. In short, the result was that 95% of the counties in America.

Thank you Terry McAwful. We appreciate your brand of campaign.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

On another Freeper thread, they are asking for info regarding a report that "Governor Richardson found the LOST ballots and now they are giving New Mexico to Kerry". Has anyone else heard about this?

They're reduced to looking for ballots in NM. The RATS are pathetic.

Did you read Dick Morris's take on the early "exit polls"? He also thinks there was dirty pool going on, saying that there's no way to do exit polls that come out that bad. Not if you know what you are doing at all.

I know some people despise Dick Morris, but I like much of what he has to say.

I guarantee you that some dirty Dims cleaned up, so to speak,($$$$$) because of those early exit polls.

Can you imagine the cry of bias and "trying to effect the outcome," by the MSM if Fox had called the win for Dubya and none of the other networks followed suit...Then Kerry calls out the moveon.org protesters and litigation and questions of illegitimacy for 4 more years?

At Three AM the Bush campaign knew they had won. It may surprise you to know that is why Andrew Card announced that Bush had won at 3:00Am. The Kerry campaign knew they had lost when Edwards came out.... that is why Bon Jovi was holding his head down in abject disappointment! Do you think he was celebrating victory.

Bush knew he had won. Kerry knew he had lost. Fox knew Bush had won and Fox knew Kerry had lost.

And anyone who thinks calling a race hours after the polls have closed can effect the outcome is ... well almost anyone can understand how illogical that is.

Fox anchors did not have the guts to say what they knew to be true. Fox anchors are stupid fools. They are sacrificing their audience for MSM acceptance. All Fox has earned is the contempt of the Democrats and the Republicans.

The MSM respects power exercised. The fools at Fox are too unobservant to understand that fact.

Fox anchors sold out trying to win approval of the MSM. They do not deserve power they don't know how to exercise it.

I think that ratings should be Fox's #1 concern, not calling the race for one party or the other.

Obviously, the powers that be at FoxNews agree with you.

What ever happened to breaking from the pack, a news media outlet actually reporting the FACTS,(not based on some lame exit poll) on election night with truth and integrity? Oh excuse me, we've never had that in my lifetime, and arguably never will.

This was FoxNews' chance to rise above the rest, and they didn't. Sad.

I think there are a select few of the FoxNews folks who are for real, and don't give a FRA about political correctness.

My fantasy is that Bernie Goldberg would start his own news network. Then you would REALLY see "fair and balanced".

Kay said something about being euphoric and taking care of grandkids...

Euphoric because of the election outcome yesterday.

But now because of the new granddaughter!

Katherine Diane arrived at 1:23 PM Thursday afternoon. Kate weighed 7 lbs, 5 oz and is 19 inches long ... and beautiful!!! She has dark hair that seems to have a little bit of wave to it so we think it may be naturally curly. Mother, baby, and father are all doing well.

We've been keeping the other grandkids at a hotel since yesterday afternoon (well, except for when they were at school today). They are soooooo excited about their new baby sister ... :-)

"it would have hurt their ratings. I think that ratings should be Fox's #1 concern, not calling the race for one party or the other."

It would have hurt their ratings? HOW? By reporting the truth, what anyone who was analyzing the data from the states as they were actually coming in could do?

It's strange how reality looks when you don't have the "benefit" of looking at through phony exit polls.

Fox has lived by their ratings, they can also die by them.

It would have hurt their ratings? HOW? By reporting the truth, what anyone who was analyzing the data from the states as they were actually coming in could do?

By early Wednesday morning, Eastern Time, we actually had the following:

Florida--

With 97% of the vote counted--

Bush +5

But the state had not been "called". There simply weren't enough votes left for Kerry (97+5=102).

Now, I can sort of understand Florida, what with what occurred four years ago. But...

Anyone with half a brain at 1:51 AM ET would have noticed the following:

Ohio...

With 98% of the vote counted...

Bush +2

Now 98+2=100 in all of the math textbooks I've ever seen. Besides, even if there were 2% of provisional ballots at that were outstanding (turns out there were), there are two facts about those ballots:

1. They are presumptively bad. After all, the reason they are "provisional" is because the local election official type couldn't verify a person's registration to vote. Most likely most of those ballots would be disqualified in any circumstance.

2. They would have to break toward Kerry in a manner unlike the rest of the vote. While possible, it is statistically highly unlikely as two things would have to occur: A--They would have to come from predominately democRAT areas (almost dead on certainly not true--and it wasn't) and B--they would have to be virtually all for Kerry as the remaining two percent of the state's valid ballots would likely continue the same statistical split as the previous 98% sample.

Game over. Call the state.

They didn't. Thus they're scum.

Wonderful News! Katherine is a lovely name. Is there family signifigance?

Using my own experience as a frame of reference, I'd imagine you are exhausted from caring for the other children.

Welcome to the world, Baby Katherine. And Congratulations to the entire family.

Sometimes it helps to re-read a post four or five times before actually posting it...

...I was not implying that either of you had "half a brain." That was a reference to media morons and democRATS watching their sliver of hope dwindling away at 1:51 AM ET.

:))))

Thanks for the congrats!

Katherine is not a family name ... they just liked it. Believe it or not, it has no connection at all with my name ... I'm Kay, not short for anything. Diane is s-i-l's mother's name. She was so very ill a few weeks ago (she came very close to dying) and they decided that giving the baby her name would be a good perker-upper for her. She is finally out of the hospital but still quite weak. She hasn't seen Kate yet. They hope to go by to see her when they leave the hospital with Kate. We did go by there this evening with the older grandkids.

And, yes, we're exhausted. But happy!

Bev ~~~ have barely skimmed the thread but I think I saw very good news from you. What a relief! *hugs*

Brit Hume was stumbling over his words more and more as the night went on. Certainly it's difficult to keep anchoring for so many hours at a time, but he must have been stumbling because he was COVERING!

Sheesh, what a let down, but better we know it now...

NEWSWEEK ELECTION ISSUE: 'How He Did It'

I hate typing on hubby's laptop so am not pinging all I would like to so maybe some of you can ping others to it. It certainly re-inforces just how lucky we are to have dodged this bullet. I sincerely believe he would have destroyed America.

If I could ask for good thoughts sent my way. I tripped and fell last week on my left knee. Today I went to the dr and there is a massive cellulitis infection in my left leg. I have to keep it propped for the next three days and keep hot compresses on it. I'll be going to my mom's tomorrow night for the weekend for some TLC. :)
