In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....
Subbie Slip has her whip, handcuffs and legcuffs today.

It sounded like our secondary was tertiary and let them run all over us. :( We play Oklahoma next. I believe that will be a tougher game.
And I have the audacity to complain about 46. Someone beat me with a wet noodle.
You may have a Pansy - but I've got 2 Prima Donnas that won't go outside if it is raining....they will hold, hold, hold, until the absolute last possible minute. And the purebred sides of each of them are HUNTING dogs.........wimps, both of them.
You show me where antinomy is a metallic substance, and I'll give you back your alimony. Trade names are not fair game here unless it's in a poem or you are trying to make subbie laugh.
There are dictionaries in the back of the classroom. Go look.

Hubby called a little while ago, he's headed home, work is dead and he thinks he's fighting something off - I think it's just delayed reaction to the 2 teeth he had pulled Tuesday. But it basically means my afternoon is shot, because he will be in my way.
xshub would go nuts if he saw the mess that my kitchen is right now! it looks like a cyclone hit it. i have the oven and bread machine going, stuff raising, stuff cooling.
