Got some linseed oil rubbed into the bows, headed to VA with 'em. Will try to get a couple pics to show you how they came out. I think they came out well, the last 2, I spent more time with an eye on aesthetics a litte...the things look pretty to me :-)
Next one will be another improvement, I hope.
Going to take the laptop, try to look in occasionally the next few few days, while I'm travelling.

Why not get him some drawing supplies to encourage his talent? You could get a drawing tablet, some watercolor pencils, or Micron pens. Clare takes her drawing stuff with her wherever she goes, and just doodles away.
Missed your earlier note, but am praying you got home safely! Have a wonderful Christmas vacation with your family. I KNOW they're thrilled to have you coming home, because I know I'm thrilled having Paul and David home for a whole month!

sitting in the airport at SFO once again. [sip] Havin' breakfast.
Just got an update on Andy...they had to remove his leg that was so badly damaged. I'm at the library and Steve is waiting so I can't post the whole email yet...I will when I get time. He's handling it well...concerned about what girls are gonna think apparently...but other than that. Medically, they were able to do a very good amputation...he had plenty of good viable tissue to work with.
Ok...just wanted to let you know. Will post more later.
300wm is in the process of sending him a knife.

I'm here plenty early. My flight's at 1:00, get in about 3:00. After baggage claim and driving south, it'll probably be 4:30 or so.

The knives (a HH and a ER) are supposed to be done Monday. They now seem so small and petty.

I use to play online games with 3 macines like that.... except I played the game on two machines and looked up stuff like maps on the third one... that hurts your head after a while. I have tried World Of Warcraft yet. Maybe when I have more free time.
Musta been a 60s thing. My wife and my sister both have horror stories of their mom's giving them Lilt home permanents the night before school pictures.
Yah know... airports on weekends are especially horrible places. Too many amateur travelers.
Yeah, lady... those metal studded lace-up boots and that metal belt were just *perfect* to wear today. Why not fill the kid's pockets with all kinds of little toys in sixty five little pockets all over the place. Dat's da ticket.
They of course there's the competing yelling-into-cell-phone-at-travel-agent dudes, who simply refuse to be happy about their trip.
