One of these days I will make one by printing the whole book on microfiche just to prove I can.
To: JenB
I had a few back in school that contained on the knowlege of the universe on a 3x5 card. But there was always the one critical one which about half way thorugh the test I REALLY wished I had put on there.

Yup, yup... and it's interesting, the pointless stupid classes usually made me memorize everything, while real classes - like Calculus - let me bring in the formulas because if you don't know the material, all the cheat sheets in the world won't help.

and since anything you ever do in the real science/math/engineering world will give you time and opportunity to look up the right way to do it.
To: TalonDJ
Exactly the point my calc prof made. He said, if you ever use this in real life, your boss will make you look up the formula because otherwise you could kill someone or waste millions of dollars.

What was annoying about this test was that some of the questions had arbitrary components like which way you traverse your list of alternatives when you are applying a heuristic. You can really go in either direction as long as you are consistent through all iterations. But his questions were about just one... so I had to guess which way he would have gone. Maybe if I had memorized each step of how he worked the example in class... but that would have been pointless because it really does not matter which way you go. So I had to write notes next to my answers explaining which way I went :P

Mmmm...egg nog...
Haven't had any yet this year.

Ah, that's annoying. At least in my classes, it's usually specified to some extent...

none? that is crazy! The friends I 'et turkey with on turkeyday seemed to think it was only a 'Christmas' thing and not a turkeyday thing. I quickly fixed that little misunderstanding.
To: Corin Stormhands
Hope you got it, Corin!
See ya later...

We often have it for Thanksgiving, but didn't this year.
New Year's is the time we HAVE to have egg nog, and lots of it. It is the law. Or should be.

Downside to the stuff is that there is NO easier way to suck down calories....
But those don't exist until January, right?

Guess I better head to LOTR fanfiction for more, if I can find any decently written stuff. You'll have to be careful with that. My daughter told me about some of the stuff that's out there. ICK!
I see by your profile that you're a folk music fan. Sir SuziQ and I were always amused, when we attended folk concerts, because we seemed to be the only conservatives in the crowd!
