Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
A new road or a secret gate...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

That [censored] scene is gonna stune their beebers.
To: HairOfTheDog
I just think "Baby, you stune my beeber" sounds like a contestant for cheesiest pickup line ever.
Ok, we'll leave it in the hands of the Lares and Penates of Blockbuster - if they've got it, I'll rent it, even though I prolly oughta study.

Man! For the slobs like me who actually have to work on weekdays, I'll have to wait until tonight at the very earlier. ;-)

I consider it my duty to go on ahead.... I'm like a sentry scout!
To: Pyro7480
I can't watch it until tomorrow. :-(
But it should be worth the wait!
Next December is going to be a bit sad. No movies to look forward to...no EEs...nothing. *sniff*

Heh...yep! I can so identify!
I'll be renting it rather than buying. Not that I expect to get it for Christmas (I wish!), but someone in the family likely will.

Sticklebats. Amazon said mine shipped Airborne last night. Took a week for me to get Harry Potter, but that was UPS. Maybe this'll be better.

Not even a report on how full of Faramir-y goodness it is?

Same here. My uncle is getting for me, and when I go home to my parent's place for Christmas, it should be there waiting for me. I just hope my Minas Tirith model is in one piece!

Well, that was a disaster.
I went to go to walmart, and well, my brake light is on you know...so I decided to just go to Aldi's since it's just down the street. You know they don't take debit cards...gotta use cash. But that's ok, cause there's a ATM machine in the store.
Got all my groceries picked out and was standing in line when I realized there was no ATM any more.
And if you don't put your groceries back, you don't get the quarter back it takes to rent the cart.

You also? That is all my mom really let us watch. The TV was only for star trek and rented movies.
To: 2Jedismom
No ATM and they don't take cards? Sounds like they don't want your money.
To: TalonDJ
They have some good deals, though. I love their coffee...very good "Folgers" type coffee for $2.99 for 39oz can. And their "Fritos" type chip is just as good as real Fritos and cost .69 for a large bag. Bag of flour costs 75 cents. Canned veggies cost .29. They are "Aldis" brand but really good quality...not poor quality like the off-brands at Walmart. For things like milk, eggs, staple items, it's a good deal.

And if you don't put your groceries back, you don't get the quarter back it takes to rent the cart. You really have to rent a cart and return it to get a quarter back?
Fascinating.
