Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
A new road or a secret gate...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Wow... we had the same question in my AI, which is an open note test.... the answer was "no".

Mm...Norah Jones.
I really like her music, what I've heard.
But I've mentioned that before.
And I'm talkin' to myself...

I'm not decided as to whether or not I'll take the final test. I'm just auditing, so...doesn't really matter.
I do need to start studying for the real Network+ test, though. And hopefully eventually A+. Might as well.

Cool... it can't hurt to see how you'd do in a real situation.

His test is just his test, though. Not a Network+ demo.
But I think there are one or two sample tests available from the testing company.

Heh...stuff like that, yep!
All of which...in the real world I'd just look up. So testing for the cert kinda doesn't mean much, except that at some point I had some things memorized.
Still...it's nice to have, I guess - and if I pass, they'll pay for it!

There oughta be one or two. I had a pair of classes that were supposed to get one up to A+ possibility, for networks or hardware. I never took the tests since I didn't intend to go into any of them.
And now I'm a sysadmin. Was up to my elbows in case dust today.

I'd advise that certification isn't so much about knowing what the answer is, but knowing that there *is* an answer and knowing more or less where to look it up. :-)
Good luck to you. :-)

btw... I only remember it by way of the memnonic device: "BlOG". Blue, Orange, Green (then brown is left over and goes last). Not the best of devices, but it works for me.

Oh, cool...hadn't heard that one before!
Of course...then the whites get thrown in, and there are two that are swapped (aren't with their color) as I recall. That's when I get out the book...but I can't for the test.
I probably won't be testing for a few months, though. March or April, maybe?

Mm...Norah Jones. I really like her music, what I've Me, too. Ever hear Mindy Smith? She came out with her first album this year, I have a feeling I'm going to buy every one she makes.... unless she turns all 'dixie chicks' on me. Same goes for the Ditty Bops.

I've not consciously heard Mindy Smith. Similar style of music?
Hm...maybe I should visit Amazon and check some clips in a bit...
100 more words, and they're takin' forever to finish!
