Scaring uninformed college kids

The linked website is simply an attempt to get people to vote for Kerry. They are trying to scare college kids into thinking that the draft is coming. Unfortunately college kids are very susceptible to this kind of propaganda, fortunately they are a group that is very unlikely at the polls on 11/2.

Wasn't it Lyndon Johnson that instituted the draft? And he was Demo-rat, right?

Dunno about that, but it was Donald Rumsfeld who was the moving force behind ending the draft in the early 70's.

And the long haired freaky people had no problem that JFK started Vietnam war, but wouldn't let Nixon at least give the S Vietnamese a fighting chance with a gradual withdrawal?

The only time Democrats like the military is when they use them on their own people. Like the illegal invasion of seizure of Elian Gonzales. I have no illusion that if the fascist liberals had power they would use military power to suppress lawful Americans. Waco and Ruby Ridge were just the beginning. So if it helped their agenda, there is no doubt in my mind it would be Democrats that would institute a draft. Of course they are too devious to ever run that on their ticket. Lying is their strategy to the White House. Patty Murray for instance is now saying she thinks OBL is evil. Oh really? I thought you said he was nobly providing health care to his people.

I am convinced for all their words, liberals love tyrants. They are federalists for one, believing the President should overstep his bounds of legislated power. If a tyrant will close and feed his people they have no problem with it. Have they forgotten why America revolted against its King to begin with? The only really perfect King was King David, and even he screwed up. (don't mind the pun)
