Why did John Kerry assume that only Bush, himself and Charlie Gibson make more than $200,000. What an elitist attitude and direct slap in the face of the audience and the people of St. Louis. Kerry is condescending in his manner of speaking and his comment completely betrayed his arrogance. I was hoping for someone from the audience to stand up and say 'I am one of those evil rich people you are so dead against and I create the jobs that you keep talking about'.
He is an elitist snob.

This was a HUGE mistake... What a snob. Not enough designer labels out there for him. Considering his wife looks like something the cat dragged in, I would think he would know money doesn't buy class... there is no way to really know how much money a person makes.

I also thought that Kerry's comment was very degrading. I'd bet there were many in the audience who make more than $200,000.
I also hated it when Kerry TWICE referred to our finest as "kids". Our servicemen are not KIDS. They are men and women in the highest regard.

I thought that it was insulting for him to assume only 3 people earned over $200,000. Even the way he said it was demeaning.
I was taught to never judge a book by it's cover. Apparently John Kerry was never taught this lesson in his fancy schmancy boarding schools. What an elist a#@hole!
