I hope it is a 'prequel'.

Mels movies top my best ever list, with "Blazing Saddles" as #1.

I'm a big Brooks fan. Blazing Saddles and History of the World Part 1 are works of genius. Spaceballs sucked...well....spaceballs. I would infinitely prefer to see him do a History sequel. Or perhaps even a prequel. :-)

I'm not entirely sure that this is a good thing.

Hope it has another Druid Princess.
Blazing Saddles is a classic. Spaceballs never achieved that status, but is hilarious.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith will be released in theaters on May 19.

Surely that's a sign of the End Times...

Mel Brooks has made some of the most funny movies ever...High Anxiety being among my all time favorites. He has also released some genuine turkeys...remember Life Stinks? To Be Or Not To Be?

What a waste of celluloid Spaceballs was. One of the very few movies I've ever walked out on... had such high hopes for it--I adore Mel--but it was simply stupid.

Was Brooks spoofing parts of It Happened One Night in Spaceballs? I've always wondered.

Besides being a hilarious comedian, Mel Brooks is one of the most decent, kindest men in a cutthroat business.
