...you can never have enough onesies or receiving blankets... Cloth diapers make really awesome burpcloths! Oh, yeah, barf-rags are really important. Oh dear, I am in no mood to be nearly that practical. Sonya and Tim can buy their own diapers and barf rags!
Shopping for that stuff is just horrifying. We looked at the most awful toys, just didn't see anything I could imagine buying for my own child... Except this:

It's really strong! I could ride the thing if I wanted! OK - so she'll grow into it. The baby stuff was excruciating.

That's kind of scary. She'll love it, and then when she's five her parents will be so besieged with "buy me a pony!" requests they'll send her to live with you.

I like it. It'll be awhile before he or she can use it, but it's pretty neat. Tho...Gidget looks a little unnerved.
