IVAN has moved inland and is weakening.
The LP center is forecast to move to near Houston, and then turn to the SW paralleling the coast.
It is possible that on Monday, IVAN will turn to the SE and re-enter the Gulf, if the LP center has not dissipated.
Rainfall amounts of 3 to 5 inches may be expected in association with IVAN which can cause life-threatening flash floods.

I haven't. Big day ahead. How do you stay so calm and cool about it?
Because all I have to do is put out the food and let people graze. That's not hard. The meat is mostly cooked and I'll put it in a slow oven while at the game. I have freshly emptied and line garbage cans. Everything is already done.
And because it is to be fun. We have no real clue as to how many are coming. So, when we run out of food, we run out. They shoulda come earlier.
We leave for the day's festivities about 8.
