My grandchildren are so traditional, they ask why the sweet potatoes were not served in the same bowl as last year. LOL

Who decides which trial we need to be subjected to day in and day out? I mean, so many are murdered... yet why was this trial in particular a national obsession? I can semi-understand why they pick the celebrity trials - kobe, oj, jackson... (not that I personally CARE one iota about any of those stuck up celebs).

Oh, I didn't mean to make you sad. I have spent quite a few holidays without family. Several of the best was having Thanksgiving potluck dinner with friends and neighbors.

Thanks. The one part has been my suspicion too. I remember in the middle of some kidnappings and/or murders of pretty young blond girls (I think about a year or two ago), the media tried to make a big deal of a little black girl who had been kidnapped. She made it home safe and sound; that was the last story about a little black girl I've heard.
I usually flip the channel when this sh## comes on, but sometimes I can't reach the remote quickly enough. Since I've always worked at home a lot, usually alone, I like the tv for company sometimes. I think the worst thing I've seen though was during the Clarence Thomas hearings. Day in, day out of seeing that bloated maggot from Mass. sitting there with his lecherous smirk - BLECK.
One only feel sad with the situations that could not be reconsiable!
