Carloyn hates all of the girls but I think the lawyer Jennifer might have something going for her.

Carolyn is perfect for this show! A real woman who is brilliant in business, knows when to speak up and when to shut up. Have you noticed how she defers to Donald, stepping aside so he can lead, even when they're walking through a room? Feminists grind their teeth at such deference, but they don't have corporate jobs like hers. Getting to the top in the corporate world always means knowing how to play follow-the-leader whether you're male or female.

I agree that lawyer Jennifer looks good right now, but in general, lawyers don't make good executives, as they are trained to look for errors and mistakes, not to take chances, be creative, and lead. It's a different mindset. So we'll see.

Ouch, ouch, ouch, it hurts to be fired for $10.00!!!! I think that Pamela had more going for her than Stacy and Maria.

I think the price was too high, but I thought the guys price was too high as well.

Are you going to watch them on QVC on the 11th? Maybe the price will be lower.

Trump is never going to hire Stacy (too annoying, smart, but annoying) and Maria has not proven herself at all. The only girl who looks good still is Jennifer the lawyer.

Please put me on the ping list.

Special honorary Freeper status to Raj, who not only had the guts to ask out Kournikova on national TV, but as each ball was being driven by him said things like "That ball was spinning like a democrat" "That was curved like Clinton" or "That was a Slick Willie serve".

Anna was a hottie. I loved it when she said "The diva has decided". What I found really amazing is how accurate the pros were (Anna and John Mac) in trying to hit Raj with the balls. Even from down in the stadium and him running, they were coming within inches of hitting him. I once played catch with a pro-football QB and it was the same thing. They can thread the needle.

P.S. Youre on the list.

Agree with you, the $10 difference was miniscule and the men priced their item too high as well.

Pricing is a bear. MBAs take courses on it, and apparently none of the contestants took them. Who is to say whether lower prices would have increased sales volume and thus the bottom line?

Long ago, I learned in a mass-market business that certain prices don't sell. An item priced at 39 cents, for example, would sell far fewer units than the same item priced at 49 cents. George reminds me of crusty but wise old New York guys I met during the course of that particular venture. Learned a lot from them!

Firing Pamela was based, I think, on her lack of people skills shown not just this time--she did unite the team--but on other contests as well.

Maria looks good but her performance has been below par. Look for her to get fired soon. Stacy has brought exactly nothing to the table, she'll go because of her endless kvetching. Ivana has been less-than-brilliant too. The women are all going down, with Jennifer lasting perhaps the longest.

Meanwhile, the men look great, every one of them. None has made a major mistake yet. They like and respect one another and have real team spirit. It's going to be quite interesting when they have to compete against each other. Raj is an outstanding guy, but may not last til the end. At this point, I have no clue who will end up the winner. Any guesses?

I thoroughly enjoyed the behind-the-scenes look at QVC operations. Fast-paced excitement! These inside glimpses of real businesses make The Apprentice a joy to watch.

This show just proved how too much education turn you stoopid. Those professional women didn't have a clue about pricing, or their target audience. The product they were selling had instant appeal to who??? HOUSEWIVES!!! And what do housewives like besides a product that works....they like a bargain!!!

The pricing should have been an attention grabbing "special introductory deal". It could have been "Buy one, get one for 1/2 price", or even a light up the phone lines explosion they would have gotten with a "Buy one, get one free" offer.

OK here's my idea - take all the women off of Apprentice.
They are fighting like savages - so let's dump them on Survivor and take the men off Survivor and put them on Apprentice.
It would be a hoot watching the Apprentice gals trying to survive in the wilderness and work together to survive, and the men on Survivor could go on Apprentice and smarten up a bit.
That would make both shows more interesting right about now!

I do not understand why Stacy and that other girl who is always whining are still there. I would get rid of both of them just on annoyance factor alone. I agree with others about the pricing. That should have been $19.99 and one of QVCs special values.

Right. The women learned from their QVC pricing mistake and went on to design a line of affordable clothing that beat the men's hands down. What were those guys thinking with that dorky designer? Would they really want to see their women walking around in those ugly garments? Reminded me of the art auction fiasco on Apprentice last year.

Whatever happened to Apprentice repeat shows with the nice long boardroom scenes? My local station isn't carrying them on Saturday night any more. Or have they moved to a different night? I'll bet Donald made acid comments on the men's bad decision to go with the off-the-wall designer.

NBC replays with long boardroom on Sat...and CNBC replays the show too, but I don't know the schedule. oops, this must be it:

"NBC has announced that CNBC will air so-called "encore broadcasts" of this season's The Apprentice 2 on Fridays and Tuesdays at both 8PM and 11PM ET/PT beginning Friday, September 10. "

ThaNKs for the info, but I don't have cable. So far, reruns with extended boardroom coverage have been available on regular NBC on Saturdays......Anyway, I hope you'll be kind enough to let the cable-deprived know details of boardroom dramas. Thanks!

I can imagine tweed-and-silk outfits I'd like, but not the ones their self-destructive designer dreamed up and executed(!) in horrible colors. A tailored cream silk blouse beneath a fine beige tweed jacket would always work for me.
