We joined AAA a few years ago, and boy am I glad!! I'm sure I could do the jumper cable thing if I had to, but I'm glad I don't! The membership paid for itself the first three months we had it cause our old van was having trouble and I needed a jump off every 6 weeks or so. Glad we got a new one ;o), but I had to have AAA come out twice in two months earlier this year cause I kept picking up trash and blew two tires!

Thank goodness for AAA!

which to cook them." And Satan brought forth deep-fried coconut shrimp,
butter-dipped lobster chunks, and chicken-fried steak--so big it needed its
own platter. And Man's cholesterol went through the roof.

Then God brought forth the potato, naturally low in fat and brimming with
potassium and good nutrition. Then Satan peeled off the healthful skin and
sliced the starchy center into chips and deep-fried them in animal fats
adding copious quantities of salt. And Man put on more pounds.

God then brought forth running shoes so that his Children might lose those
extra pounds. And Satan came forth with a cable TV with remote control so
Man would not have to toil changing the channels. And Man and Woman laughed and cried before the flickering light and started wearing stretch jogging
suits.

God then gave lean beef so that Man might consume fewer calories and still
satisfy his appetite. And Satan created McDonald's and the 99-cent double
cheeseburger. Then Satan said: "You want fries with that?" And Man replied:
"Yes! And super size 'em!" And Satan said: "It is good." And Man and Woman
went into cardiac arrest.

God sighed--and created quadruple by-pass surgery.

Ugh, what a morning! Something got messed up and all morning it's been, "I can't connect to my network drive" and "I can't print." And I can't do anything about it cuz it's a unix problem...

And now class in fifteen minutes. What a Monday this Tuesday is.

We had our bad day Friday - the mail server crashed due to a virus that somehow made it through all the defenses (some autoupdate process wasn't running correctly apparently) and we didn't get it up and running fully until late.

Today...I'm just worrying because I have very, very little time between work and the class, have not read the next chapter, and my watch has ceased to function. It's permanently set to 12:00 and won't let me set it. And I just had a battery put in in July. It better not be unfixable. But I don't really have time to stop anywhere to have it looked at. However, I really need my watch.

It's a puzzle.
