Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Pass them by! Pass them by!
New verse:
|
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Yeah, that's a pretty one. I know it's more fun when you've seen the song in an anime, but some of them are worth just listening to.

My mom tells me that one day, I came home from Sunday School and told her that the teacher had said a bad word. Turns out the word was "dead".

Hmmm... you said "dead", and it died...
Thank goodness. One piece of code in almost working order, turned in because I'd rather take the lousy-code penalty than the late penalty. One more piece... and I will have the evening free! To study for midterms, more than likely.

Working on code here myself. Just doing cleanup, commenting and final debugging.

Those are three words I don't understand at all...
Heh, just kidding, but when it comes to crunch time, code cleanup gets forgotten. So does enhancing my comments. I do better if the code matters, of course!

Well, I'm getting paid to do this, so I guess it does matter. ;~)

LOL! She's handling that mouse like a pro! Her development in the last week has been amazing. If'n she were a dwarf, her name would be 'Grabby'. LOL

Yup, it matters...
Good, now another problem is solved. The only problem I have left is my non-functioning C code...

To: Corin Stormhands
Yeah... honestly, those "Linda Eddy" cartoons don't appeal to me asthetically - I think the undoctored photo is much more telling than the charicatures - but the humor is funny.

I don't always LOL at her stuff. But I do admire her graphics skills.

They're a little creepy, IMO...I think because of the 3D and the fact that they generally have not only exaggerated features but exaggerated emotions.
But she has some cool ideas.

I think he got a spray-on tan and it reacted poorly or something. Gosh, what a moron to do this right before the debates...
Still, I'd love one of those spray-on tans. And a manicure/pedicure/facial....sigh....what is that called? Day Spa treatment.
Yeah...I could handle it. I know it sounds preposterous, and really, not like me at all.
But I know I'd love it.
But no massage. Well, maybe my feet...someone could rub my feet. Other than that, I'm afraid I'd beat someone up if they started rubbin' on me.

I guess I like my art a little more... subtle. Just a personal preference.
