Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Pass them by! Pass them by!
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

And I thank you. The fidgets lasted less that 48 hours... what's left is a periodic mouth-feel...and I rawther hope that goes away too. Soon.

Funny thing is, my poison of choice was Marlboro, though in the latter stages of tapering off and making it less pleasant, I switched to Basic and other even more obscure cheap brands.
Some of them seemed to come out of the pack pre-stale for my convenience :p
Don't know why I picked Lucky Strike for my remark; unless I bummed one, I never had one.

Very cool, OT. Are they in Missouri or Kansas or both?
OB's at a night meeting so I need to take Gyps for her evening walk, she's getting antsy. BBL LSA

Wow...at the latter stage of my tapering off phase, I thought I was doing good at one nail per 4 hours. Figure thats' 3, or 4 tops in a day...5 to 7 days per pack.
t's tempting to start up again because after all, I could control it, right?
Not me.

In case you missed any of the convention speeches, CSPAN will be replaying all of the major ones beginning at 10:00 Sat. morning.

So far just in Kansas....I'd hate to think that I'd have to sit in line at the Missouri DMV too!
The locations are a bit more urban than I like.

C SPAN online has a video archive of the Convention speeches, so you folks without TVs can still see them!

It's always fun!

Knowing him, he'll be standing there with a get-on-with-it look at precisely 10 if the previous party hasn't una$$ed the A.O.
