There are a lot of us social conservatives who aren't totally thrilled with Rudy or Condi. They're good people, but they're not pro-life the way W is. I don't think you could have them both on the ticket.

Personally, I'd rather see Condi and a nice strong moral conservative, like Santorum.

No kidding. It is bad enough some of the not-so conservative stuff Bush has done. As cool as Rudy is I don't want him as prez.

In other news I get to go see the President on Friday :)
Will be the first time I have seen a president in person before.

For our pro-life agenda, the only thing that really matters are the judges that might be appointed in this next term. Anything beyond that is around too many corners to know what will matter.

If Roe v. Wade is overturned, it won't matter much what the President at the time thinks about it. It turns back to the states and the real battle begins, as it needs to. But for this and the next presidential term, the white house will have little effect either way.

IMHO.
