For our pro-life agenda, the only thing that really matters are the judges that might be appointed in this next term. Anything beyond that is around too many corners to know what will matter.
If Roe v. Wade is overturned, it won't matter much what the President at the time thinks about it. It turns back to the states and the real battle begins, as it needs to. But for this and the next presidential term, the white house will have little effect either way.

True. And if it comes to voting for an anti-life Dem or an anti-life Republican, I'll take the Republican. But it would be a real hold-my-nose vote.
I guess I'm more pessimistic; I don't expect R. v. W. to be overturned. I believe that the next president - the one we elect in 08 - will have to keep moving the country in the right direction. Slowly...
