Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Hill and water under sky
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Chances are, the car will be back. Maybe. Problem is, all the people displaced by the flood were directed to our parking garage to park.
Oh well, enough about me...
Mitt Romney was kickin' some sKerry butt...

Yep...I was enjoyin' it.
PBS has commentary now...not horribly irritating...they're trashing Zell a bit, but not too bad.

Thanks. My husband is not a happy man right now. Life with me is becoming increasingly difficult...
So I came in here to lighten up :-)

Once again proving just how accurate the phrase "Corin day" is...
I can't believe that!
I picked up a big sign at the Young Republican table at the clubs fair today. It's about the size of a yard sign, and I propped it in my back window... not without some hesitation. My car means a lot to me and if some deleted-obscenity scratched it up, I'd be mad. But what you're talking about is unconscionable.

This is usually a good place for lightening up. ;)
Watching "Rescue Me" on FX cable channel, here.

I came in here to lighten up. I am getting waaay to stressed for my own good. I have to keep thinking of Kerry in the bunny suit to keep things in perpsective :-)

Do you know that I've had my Bush Cheney bumpersticker on my car since probably August of 2000!
You are way ahead of me! I've never had a bumper sticker on any vehicle before. I was indoctrinated by my Dad early on in life against the evils of bumper-sticker adhesive. ;)

Hubby is watching baseball, that may be half the problem right there *chuckle*

I put mine on the window. If, when I peel it off, a little adhesive remains, a paper towel and a little WD40 takes it right off!
I don't put it on my bumper or paint, though.

Maybe. Problem is, all the people displaced by the flood were directed to our parking garage to park. Well, that dilutes the situation.... rats.
Zell's kinda on fire...
