Eleventh Thread: Wedding Edition: The Hobbit Hole XI - No One Admitted Except on Wedding Business!
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |
Still round the corner there may wait |
Home is behind, the world ahead, |
Just so long as it doesn't object to your object, that's a start...
Are ya by a TV?.... the Reagan tribute that's been playing to kickoff tonight's convention has been a tear-jerker. A good kind of tear-jerker though.
Just watched the convention Reagan tribute video.
~sniff~
We miss ya, Gipper!
I'm watching it too...very nice.
I'm all choked up here too. What a terrific President he was!
I'm in the hotel lobby... waitin' on da boss.
*snif* Truly one of a kind, he was. We are so fortunate to have been given his leadership.
I only wish I had been old enough to vote for him!
Woot! It works, it's going into an infinite loop! Yay!
Um... I know that sounds wrong but it means my code is sound and I expected it to infinite-loop, I'm doing a depth-first search...
I never got to vote for him either.
OK, time to go start the fajitas for dinner. Mmmmm!
LOL! Just so long as that's what you wanted it to do!
So do I... I'm glad he was the first President I knew, though.
I'll take the chicken please! Sour cream on the side. :-)
All right, so I was hoping it would find the solution without infinite-looping, but...
At least it works! Or it will.
I am not making this up. I get to the parking garage this evening and this guy flags me down. He had witnessed from his office building some !@#$!#$^!#$%!@#$%@#$^!#$%!@#$%!$%!@#$!@#$!@#$!@#%!@#%!#$%^!@#$%!@#$!@#%!@#%!@#$%!@#$%!@#$%!@%!@$% piece of ^*@#%^!@#$%!@#%&!#$%!@#$% hit my truck and flippin drive away!
There's not much damage, couple of scratches in the rubber on the bumper, trailer hitch is bent. The jackass broke the tail light out of his Mercedes.
Spent an hour with the Capitol Police. They took all the info, got the pieces of the tail light, have the description of the guy's car and they ~think~ the correct license number. The witness was two stories up and saw it out his window and isn't 100% on the tag. So, they're not sure they'll be able to find the guy/gal.
Vermin like that are in the ring of hell just below people who leave shopping carts in parking lots.
I swear if I see the car in the parking lot, he's gonna need four new tires and a paint job. Then I'll call the police...
Oh Corin.... I bet they will find him. If he was parkin in that garage, I bet he works nearby. You'll find him.
But don't touch the car when you do!
You needed to break in that truck anyhow ;~D Pretend you did it out stumpin'.
Oh man!!! I am so sorry, Corin. That completely and utterly sucks.
Someone hit my truck and left just 3 months after I bought it and I remember how livid I was. I hope they catch that jackas$$.
Chances are, the car will be back.
Gosh, Corin...that's awful!
I saw a VW beetle hit a car once and drive off in the parking lot. I didn't bother trying to get the license plate number...the plate fell off when the driver hit the car.
I won't. But if I see him I DO plan to block him in and call the Capitol Police.
And seriesly, I'd be a lot less upset if the piece of crap had enough spine to admit it.
Oh... bummer Corin...
Yer probly better off finding some guy with an old beater of a car and flip him a twenty to "accidentally" back into a door panel. :-)
