I don't know about the Bermuda high, but am assuming the guys at the TPC are taking it into account, which is why we are still within the "cone of probability" or whatever they call that thing.
I know the odds are against any of us getting a direct hit, but just knowing it may well happen is enough to worry me, especially with a storm of this size and strength.
It's headed pretty much straight at us at the moment, so hopefully the turn will materialize tomorrow, as expected.

I just saw the video of your state's Lt. Governor, Michael Steele! He was awesome! My brother in law called last night and asked if I'd seen him. He couldn't remember his name, and I kept thinking "Erlich", but then found out this morning that he's the Governor!
Steele is a man to watch in the coming years. Maybe he'll run against Sarbannes when he's up next or the ugly Bee!

Steele is something else. Good Catholic, pro-life, pro-small government, pro-hard work. Ehrlich, the Gov., is a RINO but the fact that either one of them got elected is flabberghasting.
They are a hilarious team. The love to needle and pester the state Dems. They speak bluntly and the libs go apopolyptic. You might remember stories of Ehrlich calling 'multiculturalism' a bunch of 'crap'. Lately he's called the boy-wonder Dem Mayor of Baltimordor a "whiner" who has an administration based on "whiner"ship instead of leadership.
Anyway during the campaign season, Steele faced some of the nastiest bigotry I've ever seen- and all at the hands of Baltimordor's democrats. Many of whom are also black. At the debates they were passing out Oreo cookies in honor of Steele. They also keyed the cars of Republican attendees. That Ehrlich/Steele are such a charming and classy duo makes their victory over the bigots sooo much sweeter.
