Called my mom to tell her we wouldn't be coming that way this weekend (family reunion on the wife's side) due to Nana's troubles...My step-dad was on his way to the doctor his "heart has been bothering him..."

I usedta be part of a chemical response team - back in the late 70's/early 80's. Some chemicals I liked to respond to better'n others.... but I checked a lot of 'em out.

All of the Frances threads have everyone north of Port St Lucie as possible targets, but I keep hearing about a high ridge in the Bermudas that may track Frances straight west.

I've spent too much time with you. It's contagious and I caught it.

I'm going by the cell phone place on my way to work today. *sigh* The blasted phone just quit workin'! I made a phone call yesterday afternoon and then went to make another one and it just ceased to function. And yes, the bill is paid. *sigh* The steenkin' little PITA phone just ain't cooperating! I can't afford a new phone now.

I've already seen some leaves changing on some trees in town. One tree in our back yard, has exactly TWO bright red leaves on it, with the rest still green.

Well, it ain't humid. And I ain't done nothin' to make it that way. *sigh* I was in my office yesterday on one call. Hung up to make another call and the thing just didn't work anymore. And yeah, it is all the way charged too. Paid for and charged up. *sigh*
