Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Hill and water under sky
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

On of these days...
At 20, I didn't care.
At 30, I hoped it would happen before 40.
40 is here.

Vernor's ginger ale (originally a Detroit product) is the best in the universe. *whimper*

Evening! Just got home and finishing dinner, here. Watching Terminator 3 on one of the HBO channels.

Vernor's in
yum.
I was ever so pleased to find it in the Butts store in Killeen oh so long ago.
Now it's no problem to find it in Grand Rapids...but there's a price.
One must live in Grand Rapids.
At least 800 miles too far north for my taste :)

Yawn... I'm tired. Can't do anything. Terminator sounds good, but I really want to be programming and I can't. Hopefully tomorrow will see the program fixed.

Poor Matthew, I hope he gets better quickly!
I had to take some Zithromax about a month ago, for a sinus/throat infection. Worked good, but it did have some side effects (to my digestive system, urgh...)
To: ExGeeEye
Not bad. A little sensitive but completely usable. Thanks for asking!

Have you determined if it's your program, or the compiler, that's messing up?
I'm teaching myself a new (new to me, that is) web-building program. Makes building a webpage much easier than coding by hand.
To: Bear_in_RoseBear
That's what I'm thinking. He drank down that first "double dose" which was a very sweet liquid and then rinsed it down with Sunny Delight. Not a good combo imo. He's absolutely fine now and I think (could just be wishful) that the actual ring rash around the bite is slightly lighter.
He's got a ring with two "tentacles" shooting off of it around the bite. Really weird looking.

It's some sort of system variable not getting set, I think. Very, very annoying. If I don't fix it, I'll have to spend hours and hours extra at the department, coding there.
