14 inches of rain yesterday...
And Frances is coming this weekend.
All in all, the Southeastern U.S. is not having a vey good summer...

Sis, do you have one of those mini cassette recorders to record your lectures??
God bless you, how awful. I just feel awful about it. I am always burning myself (Steve even got me an "Ove Glove" for Christmas) so I know how awful it feels.
Right before WeddingMoot, I burned my inner forearm on the IRON! Still have the brown burn mark it put there.
Listen, if it blisters up at all, you need to get thee to a doctor. They have a great cream called "Silvadene" they will put on it and wrap it for you. It will really cut the healing time way down. If you don't and those blisters open, you set yourself up for all kinds of grief.
Ugh...burns are awful.

I think I got off light, the skin's a little stiff, and hurts, but it's mostly ok. I will go see a doc if that changes, there's a nice med center on campus.
No, no cassete. I'll see what I can do. Hopefully the lectures won't be too involved.

Good. Move quick it it blisters up.
I burned my leg on a motorcycle muffler when I was in college. I didn't have it seen to until it was in real bad shape and had to go to the ER. They put me on a gurney to dress it with the Silvadene and I wept with relief when they put that stuff on...it made it feel so much better. Just lay there on that gurney with tears rolling down my temples into my hair! I'll never forget the relief! LOL

I held it under really cold water as soon as it happened. Maybe that's why it's not too bad. And I've got a nice cold can of soda in that hand. ;-)
