Skivvieless kilt....how daring!
To: HairOfTheDog
The interloper was wearing the skivvieless kilt... I wondered about the bystander who tried to help out, though...

(Looks like you've been missing a lot of work lately! Oh, I wouldn't say I've been missing it, Bob.)

SuziQ ; That is still a massive undertaking you all doing. My hat is off to you. (Even if you have Gimli for assistance.) :-)
Contractor schedules? You're definitely better off having YOUR schedule.

Hair; great job - looks like weather is cooperating.
Bonfire? Better ping Ruthie, "Smore's anyone?"

Afternoon OT: it's a conundrum all right, wrapped in an enigma.
Sounds like you want an older house with some shade trees and an open backyard for vegtables. hmmm.
Shade Trees - hmmm. squirrels
Vegtables and flowers - hmmm. deer.

Uhmmm, most places won't cut off service if your payment is only a few days late...
lots of experience with that...

Yes, but I've never been late on a payment for anything before. And anyway, I could do without a lot of things, but internet access is a basic human need.

Yup. It's expensive but I can't live without cable internet. Not after having it for the last five years.

Well, if they're anything like Time-Warner (and they probably are) then the billing statement probably isn't rendered until several days after the "due date". With T-W, our bill is due the 15th of each month, but the next bill isn't rendered until the 20th. So, as long as the payment gets there before the 20th, it's not even counted as being late. You'll find that's true of most service places... there's a built in "grace period" of about 5-7 days, to allow for the vagaries of the postal service.

Oh, yeah.
I'm looking for movie reccomendations... good films, interesting stories, with good fight scenes. Swordfighting preferable, hand-to-hand combat ok. Fairly realistic fights, if possible.
See, the stories I write ought to have good fights, but I can't quite picture the action... any suggestions?
